It describes the inner feelings of the patient and his family. The outside appearance may seem calm, just like how the rain showering from the sky, scared to be found that it has to softly hit the ground. Burying all the tears deep down, as you are afraid to show your weakness, which will bring psychological burden to your family. I could not help and wonder if the repeated sound of water droplets is from the IV bag hanging there? From outside the window? Or from the tears inside my heart?
